The Society is holding a sale of pre-loved works to be displayed at our Short Street Studio commencing at the Annual General Meeting on Monday, 11 November and for an initial term of six months. Members are invited to submit paintings they own, ie not your own work, to be included in the sale. Works must be clean and in good condition. Please submit to the Secretary at ashsocart@gmail.com by Wednesday 6 November, a photograph of the work (this is only for identification purposes and does not have to be of display quality) along with the artist and name of the work (if known), the price and the seller’s name, contact information and bank account details. The works themselves must be delivered to the Studio before 6 pm on Friday 8 November.

There is a fee of $15 per painting, payable in cash when the works are delivered, or to the Society’s bank account 03 1354 0424470 00 before the works will be hung. Commission will not be deducted from the sale price.

The works will be hung and displayed by the Society’s committee members but remain in the seller’s ownership for insurance purposes until payment for the purchase is received by the Society.

The committee reserves the right to limit/reject entries.

The decision of the Committee on any matter is final.

Once proof of payment of a purchase is received, the purchaser may uplift the work and the seller will be entitled to submit another work for sale on the same basis.

It is estimated that the sale will continue for six months but you will be notified of a closing date at which time any unsold work must be collected from the Studio.
