Barbara Jaine

Art has always been part of my life.  As I child I enjoyed drawing and painting.  I entered a competition for a poster for children facing hospitalisation when I was 18. As my family was growing I did drawings for and with them.  Crafts and sewing fulfilled my creative needs. When my children had left home I went to some watercolour classes and have been painting for more than thirty five years.  I paint in all media but enjoy watercolours most. Landscapes and florals are my favourites, but I do dabble in abstracts now and then. I only paint from places I visit or from flowers that I have grown or have contact with.
