WET INTO WET WATERCOLOUR
….Intermediate level required……

To Start:- “The whole of our paper will get a right old soaking before paints get near it”

The workshop will embrace techniques such as glazing, lifting, skipping and stumbling to create up to 3 finished paintings.

Susie has recently studied and painted new techniques from a European artist.    She will take you through a step-by-step process, allowing everyone a chance to complete each step before moving onto the next.
An intermediate skill level in watercolour is required by participants.

It is most important to purchase the materials asked for on Susie’s list to acquire a great result, but she expects you have most of these anyway. (The list will be supplied on registration.)

The paper quality is of utmost importance.     The Drawing Room in CHCH stocks all materials on the list

“Expression of mood is what we are aiming for.  We will use loose and sometimes dramatic contrast painting of our NZ scenery.
